Welcome to the Two's!
Two year olds have the capability to speak over 50 words and begin to link words together. We offer a literacy based program to the children that will enhance the child's language and social development. The two year olds also begin to speak clear enough for their parents and teachers to understand them. New Horizons classrooms have learning centers within them, like the dramatic play center which encourages the two year olds to show their independence and play make believe with their peers. Their cognitive development continues to sore as they scribble, sort objects by color and shapes, and find hidden objects with hands on learning activities provided by our creative staff. Their physical development is stimulated when they walk alone, stand on tiptoes, climb and begin to run. The children are continuously moving and discovering new adventures to take on. Two year olds curiosity is constantly being motivated by the staff's creative lesson plans.
